The 2017 Ford Fiesta ST will be the first turbocharged Fiesta model that will be the flagship model of Fords plan to take over the mini cars market. It is specifically targeting upmarket dwellers. It will be built on Ford’s Global B platform and is a seventh generation hatchback of a model that has been very popular in the market. All its features have been refined, making it a luxury model amongst mini cars that are currently in the market. What set it apart is the magnificent fuel economy, comfort, and fantastic design. It is also fast, has great handling and is easy to park due to its small size.

The exterior of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST has a sportier front fascia and a five-door chassis made from carbon fiber and aluminum, this development reduces overall weight to just 2745 pounds. The front mesh grille is oval shaped with sharp edges and the halogen front headlights stretch half the length of the short hood. Under the hood, the drive-train of the 2017 Ford Fiesta ST gets a total overhaul. This mini hatchback will be powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission; this will be a front wheel drive. It is a direct injection engine with 16 valves and it outputs 197 hp at 6000rpm and 202-pound foot of torque at 4200 rpm. Its top speed is 143 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7 seconds. Due to lighter materials used in construction, fuel efficiency has greatly improved and is EPA-rated 26/35 mpg for city/highway driving. Ford has also fitted what it calls “a sound composer” in the engine to amplify the sound and give drivers a complete sports car experience.

The 2017 Ford Fiesta ST is priced at $22,500 for the lowest trim rising up to $25,000 when all additions are made. It is expected to go on sale during the first half of 2016.
