The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a sophisticated coupe with sensual lines that give it an attractive and elegant look. It will be more aerodynamic with an athletic design that makes it stand out. This coupe will be half the price of the S model but still better looking and will feature new aspects like bottle shape contoured body sides and a sloping rear. It will also feature an advanced engine that increases efficiency and with safety features being improved. This coupe will be offered in six trims; there will also be a convertible with the same specifications as this coupe.

2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class – Features and Design:

The exterior of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is high and compact, the front fascia has wide horizontal LED headlights similar to those in the S class models. The front mesh grill is wide and has a two chrome line running across it with the Mercedes logo in the middle, air vents have also been incorporated beneath the bumper. The windshield is upright and merges with a softly sloping greenhouse while the chassis has been constructed meticulously with aluminum and steel. The 18 or 19 inch forged aluminum wheels will be standard.

Compared to its predecessor, the interior of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will not have conservative aesthetics; rather, it offers a level of sophistication, luxury and comfort not found in many coupes. The cabin is made from soft touch materials like leather, quality fabric and plastic and is spacious with increased leg room for all five passengers. The steering wheel is leather draped and heated while the front seats are 12 way adjustable with heating and ventilation. The middle seat at the rear has a retractable armrest. The standard infotainment screen is a 7 inch LCD with an option of a bigger 8.4 inch display, a Burmester stereo system that has satellite and AM/FM radio has also been fitted. Safety features will include: Distronic Plus cruise control, auto braking, lane-keeping assistance and parallel parking-assist system with a 360-degree-view camera.

2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class – Engine Expectation:

The engine options of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class include a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4 cylinder Daimler engine that outputs 241 horsepower and 273 pound feet of torque, this will be the standard engine and it will be a rear wheel drive with all wheel drive being an option. For the sports trim; a twin turbo 3.0 liter V6 engine that outputs 362 hp has been fitted. It will have a top speed of 131 mph with acceleration from 0 to 60 mph expected to be below 6.1 seconds and power is being transmitted to all wheels. A 7 speed automatic transmission gearbox will be mated with all these engine options with EPA ratings on fuel efficiency and carbon emissions expected to be 24/31 mpg.

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is set to be released in the third quarter of 2017 with prices starting at $40,000 for the base trim rising up to 70,000 for the highest trim.
