2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO Price, New Dimension of Style

The Nissan is planning to refresh the GT-R supercar. The model was introduced in the auto market back in 2007 and is known for its high performance including unbridled power and speed. Unveiled at New York Auto show early this year, the car is going to enter the auto world as 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO. Consumers should expect refreshed interior and exterior designing as well as enhanced powertrain. The manufacturer has lined up plans of combining some previous styling and new updates to bring out a unique model of this car concept. The 2017 NISMO adopts a luxurious styling.

2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO – New Dimension of Style:

On the exterior, the car showcases an upgraded body styling. Generally, the exterior designing for the upcoming GT-R version appears wider and more aggressive than the previous model. The auto designer has built the car using lightweight materials to enhance its overall aerodynamic performance. There is also a new exterior paint color, Blaze Metallic that has been added. Expect a new grille featuring a black mesh pattern and mate-chrome finishing. Together with the new metallic color pattern, the larger V-motion grille gives the 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO sporty appearance. The grille also enhances airflow hence better airflow.

The hood comes more stable with massive reinforcements beneath it. This reduces dragging during high-speed driving. The V-motion upward pattern is followed by more pronounced character lines on both sides of the hood. The rear end also features LED fog lights that have been integrated into the vent corners. To increase the car’s downforce, a new front spoiler has been added. At the back, the spoiler and the deck-lid is similar to those found on the rear end. There are double exhaust pipes on either side of the rear end and the exhaust tips appear slanted outwards. The car retains the previous rear diffuser and will ride on a 20-inch alloy wheels, which improves its road stability.

The interior of the upcoming 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO is going to be more luxurious and comfortable with Nappa leather lining on the instrument panel for the premium edition. Consumers will have to choose between three color options in the semi-airline leather interior available on the Premium Edition. These include Amber Red, Ivory and Rakuda Tan. The 2-door styled car comes with perfectly arranged seats to allow for sufficient legroom and headroom. Infotainment system also comes updated and most of the driving features will be controlled from an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen, which replaces the previous 7-inch screen. Control buttons have been reduced from 27 to 11, making the car easier to operate even by inexperienced drivers. Other standard features include a premium audio system with AM/FM radio, MP3/ MP4 player, smartphone integration, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity. The 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO also adopts multiple driver assistance and safety features such as adaptive cruise control, a premium braking system, standard airbags and safety belts.

2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO – Engine that Deserves Respect:

Under the hood, the 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO model is going to be powered by the previous motor. This is a 3.8-liter twin turbocharged V-6 engine, featuring 24 valves. However, the overall powertrain performance has been increased and the 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO now gets around 600 hp and 467 lb-ft of torque. Power is going to be sent to the wheels via a six-speed dual clutch transmission, which shifts smoother and produces less noise.

The ignition timing for each cylinder is now controlled individually hence creating a more precise ignition timing. This engine has been rated to sprint to 60 miles per hour within 3 seconds while its top speed is about 196 mph. The Japanese have not yet provided detailed information on fuel economy though most consumers are optimistic that EPA figures will be better.

The Nissan has not yet provided the ultimate pricing for the upcoming 2017 Nissan GT-R. Consumers are however anticipating that it will arrive in the auto market at the end of this year or in the first quarter of 2017. It will go around $103,000 as the starting price.
